When caffeine and a can-do attitude just won’t cut it.
If you were to take an online quiz revealing which Disney character you are this time of year, I’d go out on a limb and guess it’s the White Rabbit from “Alice in Wonderland.” You’re hopping from one meeting or email or project to the next, constantly thinking, “I’m late, I’m late, I’m late!”
We’re in the throes of another hot homebuying season, and let’s face it: We’re all busy.
Last year’s spring buying season was like taking a tumble down the rabbit hole, and while this year might not quite resemble a bizarre trip to Wonderland, we’re still in for another wild ride.
This influx of activity is normal this time of year, but you can quickly become overloaded if you don’t have a strategy for managing your work. Sorry to break it to you, but extra caffeine and a can-do attitude aren’t enough to cut it.
It’s all in how you work. You’ll achieve better business results and avoid burnout by adopting strategies that help you work smarter and find balance in your daily routine.
As the White Rabbit is also credited with saying, “The hurrier I go, the behinder I get.”
So, I’m sharing some resources to help you slow down and re-approach how you work so you can be more productive, efficient, and successful in your business. I hope it helps, and if you have any productivity tips you’d like to share in return, I’m all (rabbit) ears!
